Bright Hill Drive Condo_Location

Abundant nature reserves and water catchment areas have made the Upper Thomson district better known for greenery than as a residential hot spot, but that is set to change. The area’s transformation is coming on two fronts – a major condominium project that is taking shape and the upcoming Upper Thomson MRT station.

This new condo development, Thomson Three, sits on a plot at Bright Hill Drive bought by UOL Group and Singland that could yield 435 condo units and 10 strata semi-detached homes.

This station, located near Thomson Plaza, is part of the $18 billion Thomson Line, which is slated for completion in 2019. The new Thomson Three condo development is within a short walk to this upcoming station which is tentatively named Upper Thomson MRT station.

The Thomson line will provide seamless connectivity to residents of this new Thomson Three condo development, with direct access to Orchard Road, Shenton Way and Marina Bay CBD areas. Residents at this new condo development can safely leave their cars at home as the Thomson line will connect seamlessly with all the existing MRT lines as well.

The stretch from Long House to Thomson Plaza, with its diverse mix of eateries and shops, can be expected to be even more vibrant and popular… homes in that vicinity will definitely stand to gain in appreciation of values. It doesn’t hurt that there are a number of highly sought-after schools within the vicinity as well, such as Ai Tong School, Catholic High School, CHIJ St Nicholas Girls’ School, Raffles Institution and also Raffles Junior College.

The Upper Thomson district consists mainly of landed housing, with clusters of condos and apartments around Bright Hill Drive and Sin Ming estate. There are few options for home buyers but the low housing supply augurs well for owners.
